Nutanix Converged Infrastructure Makes Virtual Desktops a Reality

Track:  Technology

Breakout Session I
Wed 3:30 – 4:30

Abstract:
Imagine implementing a virtualization solution without installing an expensive SAN or NAS array.  Now you can.  A 2012 “Best of VMworld” finalist in the category of “Hardware for Virtualization,” the Nutanix Virtual Computing Platform combines VMware-optimized storage, servers, and flash memory into a single 2U hardware appliance.  Each Nutanix appliance includes up to four high-performance server nodes, each integrating best-in-class Intel CPUs, local storage, and server-attached flash.  The Nutanix Virtual Computing Platform consumes less power and provides greater performance than conventional configurations featuring multiple server and storage units.
