Abstract:
Virtual desktop infrastructure (or VDI) enables users, including students, professors, and administrators, to access their college desktop environment anytime, anywhere from a variety of devices. While VDI promises convenience and enhanced productivity, implementing virtual desktop infrastructure in a multi-campus setting can be problematic. This webinar offers insights into deploying and configuring VDI for multiple locations, including how Passaic County Community College crafted their multi-campus VDI solution.

 

Bios:

Scott F. Brousseauis the Chief Technology Officer of PBG Networks, Inc. As the Information Systems Security Officer for the U.S. Defense Department’s Joint Computer Aided Acquisition and Logistic Support System (JCALS), Scott was instrumental in creating and managing the largest Virtual Private Network ever established, connecting more than 12,000 VPN tunnels. A graduate of Rutgers University, Scott is an acknowledged expert in the fields of network infrastructure, remote access, and server virtualization, having such prestigious clients as Computer Sciences Corporation, L3, and BearingPoint.
