Abstract
This presentation reviews a collaboration between New Jersey City University’s Educational Technology Department and the Bayonne School System (both NJEDge Members). Middle school students researched the unique culinary culture of the Peninsula City and created an app-ready map and an augmented reality experience that shares the diverse foods of Bayonne.

Christopher Shamburg is a professor of Educational Technology at New Jersey City University.  He is the author of several books on educational technology and a 2013 HP STEMx Catalyst Fellow.

Bio
Dan Ward is an educator with over 20 years of experience as a teacher, supervisor, and director.  He leads the Bayonne school districts language arts, social studies, and library school media centers.
