Emerging Embedded Classroom Technologies to Support Student Learning and Academic Engagement: Using Courseload’s Online Course Resources System

Thurs. 12:45pm-2:00pm

Abstract
Learn about a new embedded classroom technology from Coureload known as the Online Course Resource (OCR). The OCR is not an e-textbook; it is an interactive classroom technology, replacing the traditional textbook, making on-site and online learning experiences interactive and engaging. For two years, Berkeley College has successfully implemented this new technology in both online and on-site classrooms. Participants learn about the OCR and its features and interact with Berkeley College faculty trained to use this cutting-edge classroom technology in their classrooms. Participants receive faculty best practices samples from OCR courses and the findings from student and faculty satisfaction surveys.
