Green Screen Challenges

Track: Video Production

Abstract
Green screens aren’t a new technology, but increased access to video editing programs and the high-resolution video equipment needed for acceptable results means more and more people are turning to green screens for clean backgrounds in less-than-ideal recording environments. Although the green screen offers unique advantages when keying out backgrounds, they also present new and unique challenges, such as preventing background color bleed and managing wardrobe around software. In my poster, I will detail several “worst-case” scenarios for green screening and how to work around them.
