Creating Screen Casts and Implementing a Compliant Streaming Media Solution

When used properly, screencasts play an increasingly essential role in engaging students in both online and blended courses.  However, developing the best tech solution to create such video clips is just one part of the equation.  It is also necessary to identify a host to stream the screen casts.  Further, to be universally responsible and effectively engage all students, we need to include features such as closed captioning, and transcripts that function with assistive devices.  This presentation will explore the compatibility issues related to creating and hosting / streaming these learning objects.
