Using the LMS as a pedagogically unifying and transformational tool

While the adoption of content management systems have reached critical mass, use of these platforms vary across institutions and among faculty. At MCCC, the experience is ongoing and the migration campus-wide is increasing awareness and conversations about pedagogy, course design, instructional technology, retention and the future.

Mercer County Community College

Academic credentials include: a doctorate in Education, with a specialization in education technology, a Master’s in Political Science, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and French Studies. In addition to her role as director of MercerOnline, she has extensive instructional design and post-secondary teaching experience in traditional and online platforms. For more than a decade she has taught interdisciplinary offerings from contemporary management, political science, French, composition  to journalism courses. Other experiences include e-learning consulting, international market research consulting and 20 years publishing experience in trade publications for education, food and agribusiness industries.
